Comedy Central To Host Roast Of Bitcoin

NEY YORK CITY, NY – Comedy Central announced Wednesday that it will be hosting “The Roast of Bitcoin” in December 2021. The announcement featured a star-studded lineup of both Bitcoin proponents and opponents. The Roast of Bitcoin will be hosted by the “Roastmaster General” Jeff Ross and will feature MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor, SchiffGold’s Peter Schiff, NFL athletes Russel Okung, Saquon Barkley, and Sean Culkin, former NBA star Charles Barkley, rappers Busta Rhymes and Soulja Boy, and numerous members of the Bitcoin community: Unchained Capital’s Justine Harper, Bitcoin Magazine’s Joe Rodgers, Playboy Bunny Jessica Vaugn, Memetard LC_HODL, Crypto Witch Maren Altman, and Meme Factory member Yellow. “I have no idea how I’m going to roast a bunch of nerds who went from playing Dungeons and Dragons to playing with internet money, a bunch washed up rappers, and the bunny responsible for Hugh Hefner’s last orgasm,” joked Roastmaster General Jeff Ross. “Make sure we have How to Catch a Predator on speed dial, I found the guys who have been messaging your kids.” The last roast aired by Comedy Central, “The Roast of Alec Baldwin,” took place nearly two years ago in September 2019. “With all of the interest from young people and speculation from policy makers surrounding cryptocurrency we decided that it was time to bring some comedy to the table,” said Comedy Central CEO Kent Alterman.
